The story takes place in the Holy Midgand Empire, a world afflicted by Daemonblight. A disease that turns humans into horrific creatures known as Daemons. The protagonist, Velvet Crowe, experiences a life-altering event that transforms her into a Daemon. Motivated by a desire for vengeance against those who have mistreated her. Knowing this, she is enraged by the injustice and plans to kill him.
Veteran Tales of character designer Mutsumi Inomata has personally designed Velvet, while ufotable, a well-known Japanese animation studio, has returned to animate the game’s magnificent cutscenes, offering really epic and emotional storytelling in their own distinctive manner. There are numerous islands nearby, and Midgand’s dominion reaches beyond the oceans.
